Our Vision
It is the vision of New Life Christian Church to encourage and equip men, women and children to become involved in World Missions and become teachers of the gospel to fulfill the great commission as written in Matthew 28:19-20. As part of the ten (10) year vision at New Life Christian Church, Missions Ministry is preparing to raise up and send a minimum of four (4) short term Missions Teams per year as well as supporting several fulltime Missionaries on the foreign and domestic fields. The Mission Ministry at New Life Christian Church supports and trains all teams going to the field, and maintains a separate budget from the General budget.
Beginning in 1991, several members of New Life Church attended a conference in New Brunswick, Canada which seemed to spark a fire for missions within the church. In November 1992, Pastor Jeff and several members went to a conference in Argentina, and was introduced to Brother Abraham Pothen from India. This contact sparked a short term mission trip to Cochin, India in 1994 and our church has broadened its exposure to many other countries to include, Japan, Ghana, Nigeria, Uganda, Rwanda, Lativa, Russia, Guatemala, Brazil, Kenya, Peru and several more.
These teams are people of New Life Church, just like you, who are called and respond, then fund their trip through support letters and gifts of relationships they have with friends, relatives, work associates and etc. Many youth trips are administered through the Teen Mania Organization. The training of our teams are done internally consisting of a 13 week process prior to departing.
